Can I report a crash caused by poor road maintenance?

If your crash was caused primarily by bad driving, but poor road maintenance contributed, you can still report it on Stop SMIDSY. You will be able to report how the road itself affected what happened.

You can report any crash caused primarily by a pothole or other road defect on another CTC site, FillThatHole. Any report you make on Fill That Hole will go directly to the department in charge of road maintenance at the responsible local authority. On FillThatHole you can also request assistance from CTC’s claims line.
